Love Your Park Cleanup Day 5/11

Love Your Park, every day, but especially this Saturday, May 11th. This weekend kicks off Philly Parks & Rec’s annual Love Your Park Week, and on Saturday Sedgley will be holding an extra special clean-up day. There are lots of projects slated so please come out and lend a hand from 9am-1pm. Snacks will be provided for the volunteers.

PLEASE NOTE: Tags will start at 2pm.

Pawsome Doubles Tournament 5/19

Grab a partner and come on out to play a round in support of our furry, four legged friends. There will be CTPs, Ring of Fire, prizes and most importantly, tons of fun! Change to Ladies Monthlies

Just a heads up to the ladies playing in the Monthlies, the Pro and Am divisions will now be paying a $7 entry fee. The Pros will be playing for cash, Ams for disc prizes. Starts this weekend March 30th.

Sedgley’s biggest tournament of the year, the Philly Open, will be taking place on April 6th & 7th. Due to the modified course layout and large turnout for the event, the course will be closed to the general public on both of these days. This is one of the very few times a year where the course is closed, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Its time to get yourself signed up to play in the Philly Open! Click here and scroll down the page to the Friends of Sedgley Woods section to find the registration details. This tournament WILL fill up, so you’ll need to pre-register online to get yourself a spot.

Please Note: All Open divisions and ONLY the Advanced Men (this does not include Advanced Masters, etc.) will be playing on Saturday April 6th. All remaining divisions will play Sunday April 7th.

Also note, for those not playing in the tournament, the course will be closed to the general public on both of these days.

Nice-Up! 2013 is Now Online

Now you can get Sedgley’s own publication online! The Nice Up! 2013 issue released in mid-February was so hot we had to let it cool off before posting it to the site, we dont wanna burn down the internet! It’s got the 2012 year in review, tons of pics, info on what’s in store for 2013, and much more. Check it out and be sure to give props to Josh Hughes and all the collaborators for another job very well done, it just keeps getting better. Printed copies are available at the course while supplies last, get em before they’re not.
