The Friends of Sedgley Woods, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organized to oversee the maintenance and daily operations of the Sedgley Woods Disc Golf Course located in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia PA.

 
 

Board of Directors

Club Members vote for the incoming Board Members that have been nominated by the Officers to fill vacant Board seats. Any Member in good standing with the Club can run for a Board position during the election of Board Members. Our Elections are held annually in December at the Sedgley Woods Holiday Party.

History of Sedgley Woods

The Friends of Sedgley Woods is an organization dedicated to the preservation of Sedgley Woods Disc Golf Course and the development of the sport of Disc Golf in Philadelphia, PA. This club was formed in 1990 after ten of the original Sedgley baskets were stolen. The first act of the Friends group was to raise money and replace all of the baskets with Mach 3 Pole Holes.

FSW Code Of Conduct

All members should refrain from any conduct which is detrimental to the game of disc golf and to the Friends of Sedgley Woods, both on and off the course. All players must adhere to a professional standard of sporting ethics, courtesy, and integrity while participating in an event.
